McKinley To Address Virginia’s 10th District Republican Convention

Vern McKinley will address fellow Republicans at Virginia’s 10th District Convention on Saturday, May 17th, 2008. The campaign invites supporters, interested parties, and volunteers to come hear McKinley speak and help the campaign.
The convention begins at 10am, but registration begins at 8:30am so get there early.

McKinley Against The Democrats on NPR WAMU Radio Debate

On Friday May 30th, 2008 at noon Vern McKinley will debate the two Democratic congressional candidates, Mike Turner and Judy Feder, for Virginia’s 10th district. The event will take place on WAMU 88.5 radio on “The Politics Hour” show hosted by Kojo Nnamdi. Frank Wolf, McKinley’s opponent has declined to participate.

Party For Supporters and Volunteers At McKinley’s House

Vern McKinley and his family are inviting volunteers and supporters to their lovely home on Saturday May 10th for a good old fashioned BBQ. There will be drinks, music, and games for the whole family.

The grassroots supporters of the Vern McKinley For Congress Campaign have invented a novel fund raiser mimicking Ron Paul’s now famous “money bomb” concept.
On Thursday, May 1st, 2008 supporters are encouraged to donate generously to the campaign according to the money bomb website at: MayDayMcKinley.com
This along with other fund raising efforts are certainly welcomed and required when running a primary campaign against a 28 year incumbent.

McKinley To Campaign At Virginia Gun Show

On Friday, April 11th, Vern McKinley will bring his pro-Second Amendment message to “The Nation’s Gun Show” at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, Virginia from 3pm to 8pm. Following the show, McKinley will host a fund raiser cocktail reception. Joining Vern and his guests will be some Second Amendment Celebrities.
Come to the show and reception to find out more about his campaign and who these celebrities are.
Vern has earned a 100% rating from the Virginia Gun Owner’s Coalition and is a welcome contrast to Frank Wolf, who voted against repealing the DC gun ban.
