Vern McKinley will address fellow Republicans at Virginia’s 10th District Convention on Saturday, May 17th, 2008. The campaign invites supporters, interested parties, and volunteers to come hear McKinley speak and help the campaign.

The convention begins at 10am, but registration begins at 8:30am so get there early.

On Friday May 30th, 2008 at noon Vern McKinley will debate the two Democratic congressional candidates, Mike Turner and Judy Feder, for Virginia’s 10th district. The event will take place on WAMU 88.5 radio on “The Politics Hour” show hosted by Kojo Nnamdi. Frank Wolf, McKinley’s opponent has declined to participate.

On May 20th, 2008 at 4:30pm Vern McKinley will participate in a debate including Libertarian Presidential candidates Bob Barr and Mike Gravel hosted by Reason Magazine at their headquarters in DC. The address is: 1747 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC

Following the show, McKinley will host a fund raiser cocktail reception. Joining Vern and his guests will be some Second Amendment Celebrities.

Vern has earned a 100% rating from the Virginia Gun Owner’s Coalition and is a welcome contrast to Frank Wolf, who voted against repealing the DC gun ban.
