Monday, May 12th is the last day Virginia 10th district residents can register to vote if they wish to vote for McKinley in the June 10th Republican primary. As the Winchester star points out…

WINCHESTER — Area residents who wish to vote in next month’s primary to decide the candidates for the November election for Congress need to be registered by 5 p.m. Monday.

For the first time since his first win for office, U.S. Rep. Frank R. Wolf, R-10th, will have an opponent in a GOP primary to retain his seat.

Vern McKinley of Ashburn will face Wolf in the primary on June 10.
